DescriptionNike’s Global Controlling Operations (GCO) organization provides operational support via a shared delivery model to stakeholders throughout the world. Our mission is to exceed the efficiency and accuracy expectations of our internal clients by leveraging our process execution and innovative technology expertise.

As the Senior Reporting Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to NIKE’s Senior Leadership and all other stakeholders across Finance. This position partners across Finance and Technology to ensure delivery of complete and accurate reporting throughout the organization.

The Senior Reporting Analyst will be critical in performing the following responsibilities:

Consolidated Financial Reporting:
Supports monthly reporting with the Global Reporting & Data Governance team, including:
Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting for internal management and external reporting purposes
Engages globally with stakeholders to understand information needs and priorities to ensure relevant and timely information
Works closely with IT to monitor system performance and problem solve when issues arise
Has a growth mindset; demonstrates curiosity and focuses on process improvement and automation. Creates and utilizes systems, processes and tools that positively impact productivity and accountability
Utilizes prioritization skills to determine where to focus efforts to drive value and connect with corporate objectives
Metrics and Reporting:
Champions and executes on a metrics-driven culture.  Supports applying, producing, and distributing metrics that support the Global Reporting & Data Governance function. Maintains and builds out metrics-based infrastructure to ensure timely, relevant, and consistent reporting. 

Training:Supports training the Finance community on reporting fundamentals and how to use reporting tools.  Assists in identifying where training efforts need to focus based on team metrics.
QualificationsPreferred – 3-5 years’ relevant experience - which includes experience with a National public accounting firm or with a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company.
Experience with accounting processes, financial statement and general ledger close.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with the team.
MS Office and advanced Excel skills (VBA, nested formulas)
Data Analytics tools: Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc.
A proven track record of delivering results (quality, time, budget) on globally and regionally-based projects.
Customer service and cross-functional interpersonal skills.
Strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
Must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize projects, and excellent attention to details
Act as an SME to leverage Company tools (SAP, BPC, EPM, BW, BEx) and technology to access all required information accurately.
SharePoint knowledge a plus
CPA preferred but not required
