DescriptionIn Nike’s Global Operations team, our business is change. We work to build and operate the capabilities required to serve the rapidly changing needs of our athletes* globally. Someone with both a high IQ and high EQ. You must be a self-starter, flexible thinker, and outstanding communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing different personalities and perspectives. You will need those skills as you work not only across our team, but also across multiple functions, living within Nike's matrixed organization.As our Performance Management Director reporting to our Senior Director of Performance Management, you will be responsible for the following:•Define the areas of operational performance that matter most in helping Nike meet its corporate goals, and establish frameworks that enable clear, consistent understanding of performance in these areas•Lead cross functional working teams in the ideation, development, and implementation of new performance management frameworks•Develop new metrics, analytical tools, and tracking mechanisms to enable regular operational reviews by Nike executives•Define quantitative, driver-based targets in key areas of operational performance for Nike Geographies and Global Functions•Influence decisions made throughout Nike’s value chain to optimize operational performance through data and insight•Execute and continuously improve the performance management operating model with Nike’s Geography Operations teams to enable measurement of operational performance•Be an active, energetic participant in a global network of Performance ManagersQualifications•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Management or a related field•MBA or business-focused Master's degree or higher is preferred •10+ years' experience working in analytical roles within Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and/or Planning•Experience working for a multinational consumer products company preferred•Experience in investment banking or management consulting a plus•Strong strategic problem solving skills•Deep quantitative capabilities, either through engineering, finance, or related field•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior leadership and all levels of the organization at the appropriate level of detail•Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally, including with senior leadership, and create trust among those with diverse personal styles•Proven experience in driving influence and results within highly matrixed organizations, and proven energy to navigate complex organizational structures•Passion for product and sport•Strong Footwear and Apparel industry literacy preferred•Standout "can do" attitude and enthusiasm to drive Nike forward•Ability to pass a 7 year background check NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
