DescriptionAs our Director of North America Consumer Direct Science, you will lead a team to execute around the three growth principles at Nike; Data driven decisions, Consumer Direct Offense, and lead with North America.  Primary focus will be Demand Supply Management, including partnerships with Merchandising and Planning as it relates to product trends, analysis, and insights.  Additional partners include BI, Global Consumer Direct Science, North America Marketplace, and North America Nike Digital Commerce leadership team.  The spectrum of work includes Live Ops quick ad hoc analysis, weekly reporting, and deep dive insights to influence the trajectory of the business.  As a Director, the role requires the ability to manage both up and down as well as digging into the data yourself.   
Responsibilities include but not limited to:Lead cross-functional projects to uncover opportunities in the business
Enable teams to make data-driven decisions by leveraging dashboards, providing reporting, and delivering insights
Collaborate and partner with Global and Geo leaders to align on strategy and roadmaps
Build, maintain, and oversee data models, reporting, data automation, and dashboards support key business decisions
Continuously improve processes and reporting as new needs, requirements, and data arise
Communicate to leadership and partners business insights, risks and opportunities, and deliverables in a clear, concise manner
Make sound decisions in ambiguous or difficult situations, including when under pressure
Act as functional/end-user SME in data architecture and visualization decisions
Lead, develop, coach, and inspire a team of analysts
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or Computer Science
Minimum of 8 years professional experience required
Management experience preferred
Retail experience required, ecommerce experience preferred
Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
Excellent organizational change management skills with a strong attention to detail
Outstanding collaboration and partnership capabilities
Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
Experience with senior leadership and ability to deliver executive-level summary updates, reports and presentations
Strong leadership and ability to drive towards capabilities and desired outcomes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Adobe Analytics, IBM Analytics, Google Analytics or other web analytics tools
Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, etc.
