DescriptionNike Direct Marketing is looking for a Director of Product Marketing for the NRC App to build the brand vision, positioning and strategy to bring best in class brand experiences to life for one of the most active Running platforms on the planet.As part of Nike Direct Markteting and the Digital Channel Marketing team, your mission will be focused on creating experiences centered on a 365 lifestyle of sport. You will be a key contributor into a multi-pronged Nike Direct digital marketing strategy that crosses teams throughout the organization with direct collaboration and alignment with our geographies.

This role will oversee the development and execution of specific strategies for NRC App focused on ways to drive new levels of engagement and member retention surrounding our most active community of runners. You will look to shape, grow, serve and reward an active NRC community helping define and deliver holistic experiences and services that keep them engaged, motivated, and running faster and farther. Key deliverables include consumer journey strategy, digital marketing roadmap & experience requirements & best practices, test/measurement plan and owning pilots and geo rollouts  for new marketing capabilities.
This role requires a strategic mindset demonstrated through innovative digital thinking and expertise to drive key decisions that move the platform and brand forward. We’re looking for a demonstrated digital marketing leader who is creative, collaborative, and eager to develop and lead a highly effective team.  A leader of inspiration, uniting team & geographies around the Nike Direct Marketing vision & NRC channel strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for creating and evolving the NRC App brand strategy. Includes but not limited to delivering seasonal engagement plans,  global playbook & toolkits with app guidelines, consumer journey framework, marketing capability use-cases and best practices informed by learnings, data and insights.
Subject matter expert of the NRC platform and deep knowledge of the digital capabilities, understanding how to maximize the channel to elevate the consumer experience. 
Identify and share NRC marketing needs and learnings back into Consumer Knowledge, Digital Design and Digital Product teams to ensure the platform and product roadmap is optimized to support marketing, consumer and geography needs. 
Drive engagement & retention strategy for the NRC App consumer experience including app store optimization, content strategy, personalization, mix, targeting, and journey design.
Work in partnership with geos, global digital brand, category brand & performance marketing to drive app downloads and an always on install offense.
Educate, operationalize with geos and deliver go to market plans for key features and new releases
Educate and operationalize new NRC channel standards (new guidelines, marketing capabilities and best practices) that can be shared globally and across marketing to drive efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
Lead NRC pilot-to-scale experiences, testing new and innovative ways to deliver personalized experiences at scale and solve for common consumer and geo needs.
Lead global knowledge sharing forum to capture cross-geo learnings and drive insights to action by activating wins globally.
Provide strategic digital thought-leadership as it relates to the NRC channel within seasonal ideation for category experiences, identifying new, innovative ways to engage the NRC community with newness and movitvation from the brand.
Inform editorial content creation process to develop channel right content to match consumer intent based on insights and NRC best practices aligned to geography experiences needs.
Develop cross channel strategies in partnership with app and channel leads to serve members holistically, connect to other commerce and activity experiences and drive re-engagement.
Work with category teams to deliver product positioning & messaging that clearly defines the benefits of NRC to drive engagement and retention.
Understand the competitive landscape, analyze market and company data alongside partner strategies to define opportunities, audiences, objectives, threats and priorities.
PARTNERSHIPSPartner with retail brand team to co-develop omni-channel frameworks to enable connected consumer journey’s for runners.
Collaborate & align with Nike Direct Digital on new marketing capabilities/features to be prioritized on product roadmap. 
Partner with category brand teams to develop NRC vision and brand plan
Drive 365 iterative learning loop to wire channel insights & content insights into Nike Direct Marketing and Category Marketing offense, continually test, measure & optimize seasonal plans in partnership with Consumer Knowledge and Integrated Knowledge.
LEADERSHIPHelp to build the next generation of digital leaders, accelerating functional digital expertise to power the new offense.
Motivate, mentor, and develop the existing team and develop a long-term plan for team structure and growth.
Lead through influence and collaboration, building strong relationships with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.
QualificationsMinimum of 6 years of directly relevant digital marketing experience for an e-commerce company, preferably in retail
Experience working with marketing analytics and how to derive actionable insights 
Understanding of digital landscape, user experience and our digital platforms
Passionate about running
Ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture 
Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations to senior leadership
Outstanding leadership and coaching skills to lead functional teams and large cross-functional projects
Experience of working cross-functionally in a matrix organization
Expert at driving a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration 
History of championing and implementing data-driven decision making processes with strong focus on marketing performance analytics & optimization
Ability to understand challenges or underlying opportunities, share ideas, and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
Adapts quickly to move at the pace of consumer and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed
Natural digital curiosity with in-depth awareness and passion for learning the marketplace, consumer trends, evolving retail landscape and industry best practices.
