DescriptionAs part of the Solutions Design Team, the Solutions Design Manager will work across the Global Fulfillment groups and functions, to provide subject matter expertise specific to Business/Operational Process to managers, leads, and project teams, for the design of geo infrastructure projects in support of Nike Supply Chain strategy and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: You will support the Geo’s in designing new processes/DC’s based on global and local market needs.
Lead collaborative Design activities in partnership with Geo’s, internal and external partners.
CoLead Detailed Design activities together with NDS and safeguard our global template.
Codeliver defined capabilities that connect process design & execution, people and technology and is globally consistent & locally relevant in line with future needs.
Collaborate on and communicate technology strategy and priorities to the business at all levels.                                                                               
Involved in network strategy work to support the future in line with best practice and latest developments at a distribution level.

Understands customer's business drivers and changes in priorities.
Able to apply business expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives within projects, programs and department activities
Demonstrates tight partnership with BP&R, TM, NLS, and Technology workstream resources and activities
Able to facilitate the resolution of complex technical, operational and organizational issues and challenges
Establishes productive relationships with GEO project counterparts to provide coaching and assistance to ensure consistent project/program delivery across Nike’s global portfolio.
QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain/Logistics related majors. A Master’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required
Minimum of 5 years of specific experience working with Network Strategies, DC Solutions Design, DC Start Ups, Retrofits, WM implementations, DC Operations, Project Management, and methodologies within global project delivery
Experience leading Logistics and more specifically Node / DC Solutions     
Experience in guiding “Lean” improvement processes and understand the importance of flow in a process.                                                                    
Extensive experience in Distribution and/or Logistics in a large multinational organization is a +                                                                   
As a good system thinker, you view the organization as a collection of linked processes and systems. In this, you understand how changes in a specific area impact the whole.
Experience in Warehouse Management Systems or large technology implementation
Proven ability to navigate and get things done within a large and complex organization
Proven ability to influence others, at multiple levels of the organization, from entry level employees to executives
Proven presentation and facilitation skills, including high profile, executive communications
Demonstrated experience working in team oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others
Demonstrated experience working successfully in a highly matrixed work environment 
Travel: 30-50%
