DescriptionNike’s Global Workforce Analytics Center of Excellence is a growing team within the HR function responsible for building and deepening a holistic view of Nike’s employees through data and analytics and applying those insights to inform decisions and catalyze actions. Using sources ranging from workforce planning and costing analyses to engagement and survey data, our team connects the science and art of the Nike employment experience.You’re someone who has a deep passion for igniting business decisions and actions through data, for introducing new and meaningful visualization techniques, an eagerness to dig into the data, and a vision for how the use of analytics can impact one the world’s most prestigious brands and its workforce. You'll work with our Analytics Leadership team and manage one or more cross-functional special project work-streams to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and/or strategic problems, and to catalyze action against these priorities. Expect to get involved in the following areas: Workforce Planning & Forecasting, Data Exploration, Visualization, Statistical Discovery and Business Analyses. QualificationsCurrently enrolled MBA program and ideally with a concentration in Business Analytics or related field (Knowledge of HR discipline is useful but not required) with an expected graduation date of Winter 2019 or Spring/Summer 2020
High business acumen, with an affinity for business reporting, analysis, and working with business intelligence tools and large amounts of data.
Moderate SQL experience preferred. Experience with a statistical tool or package is a plus (such as R, Python, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
Familiarity with big data technology stack – including AWS, Snowflake, Athena, Tableau.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (without time limitations, restrictions or need for work sponsorship) 
Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels, including a demonstrated ability to make presentations in front of senior leaders
Proven experience leading projects or teams 
Experience in multinational, matrix organizations
