DescriptionYou'll be a connected and a collaborative member of a high performing team. This role partners with peers in Finance, Strategic Planning, Human Resources, and Operations within Nike’s Global Design organization to drive cross-functional objectives. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a high potential candidate with excellent professional accomplishments to join one of the most iconic and innovative global consumer brands. The role has high exposure across many dimensions of the Nike organization and provides an excellent platform for further professional growth. As a Finance Manager for Global Design, key responsibilities include:
Lead and implement budget, forecast and action plan development for the organization, assuring financial objectives are consistent with the strategic plan 
Strategic thought partner for the organization, develop guardrails to drive value white fostering an entrepreneurial environment as it relates to strategic investment 
Oversee a seamless and efficient close/forecasting process, recommending and executing process improvements as necessary
Perform timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against the strategic plan, budget, and forecast to ensure integrity of the financial statements 
Interpret and review financial results, ensure management is educated on the use and interpretation of financial reports and metrics, including trends/ risks and opportunities to facilitate actionable responses
Partner with business partners, including VP’s, to establish key financial measures for business strategies. 
Identify opportunities for profitability enhancement and then implement initiatives to achieve results
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field
5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, and/or budgeting/forecasting
MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and build robust financial models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in effectively working with Management and Cross Functional teams
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint 
Experience with SAP (COPA, BW, ECCS) is preferred
