DescriptionNike’s Consumer Direct Offense is designed to serve the athlete faster and more personally, at scale, led by digital. With focused growth through key categories, this new offense will connect the NIKE Brand and products with consumers in new and more powerful ways. At the heart of the Consumer Direct Offense is Nike’s new membership program that will provide member-only access to the products and experiences members love, matched to their individual preferences and behavior patterns. Our mission is to create the world’s most distinctive membership program that accelerates consumer connections while driving growth and profitability for the Nike Brand.  
The Role: We are looking for a data-driven growth hacker to join the North America Membership team in the newly created role of Director, Member Growth. This leader will create and manage the membership growth plan in North America, with a focus on managing a membership P&L, growth KPI’s and targets as well as designing growth strategies to increase the growth and profitability of Nike’s Membership program through the use of data analytics. This is a hands-on, cross functional role at the intersection of marketing and business and is focused on member acquisition, activation, retention and upsell. Ideal backgrounds for this role include leaders with expertise in operating digital business with a focus on driving consumer growth and monetization. Candidates should have experience building consumer-centric growth business models and both business and financial measurement.
This role will have strong influence on the future direction of Nike’s membership program in NA, and we are looking for candidates with a track record of building and leading high performing teams in fast paced and complex environments, with a desire to be at the center of a massive transformation of Nike’s digital and direct capabilities. Flexibility, drive, and communication capabilities will be critical characteristics. 
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Define the NA member growth plan, design and execute growth programs with cross functional teams, and optimize the member funnel against growth KPIs and targets
Develop economic analysis frameworks to support decisions related to member segments and benefit performance in NA and key cities
Identify and prioritize opportunities to drive consumer-focused business growth through business analytics, and partner with cross functional teams bring new growth hacks to market quickly
Help develop growth hacking, growth hacking learnings, and a culture of A/B testing and experimentation with data-driven hypotheses and reporting
Operationalize the processes for tracking and assessing progress against goals, risks, and areas of opportunity
Partner with Nike’s NA finance team and consumer and business analytics teams to link activities within the membership program to Nike’s P&L and growth funnel
Lead and coach one direct report (Manager, NA Member Benefits Analyst) to maximize the impact of the Member Growth team
Success for this role requires the establishment of a best-in-class membership program, driven by a strong understanding of both consumer connectivity and profitable growth. But beyond the core responsibilities, this role must also be a key contributor to the evolution of Nike’s business model and the acceleration of the Consumer Direct Offense with membership at the center.
Qualifications8-12 years relevant experience in growth roles in media, marketing, consumer subscription business, or a startup
Educational experience in Economics, Finance, and/or Business Strategy
Experience in a startup environment and/or having a startup mindset
A/B testing and data analytics experience
Background influencing teams to drive business growth from loyalty/membership programs or digital commerce and technology at major global companies
Experience applying behavioral economics in subscription or member-centric business models
Experience developing economic models and decision frameworks
Experience translating economic opportunities into compelling stories, influencing the work of cross-functional partners
Experience with digital commerce and content platforms is a plus
