DescriptionAs our Director, Strategy & Capabilities North America Marketplace Operations, you will contribute to Nike’s growth and have a real impact on the consumer experience for Nike Stores, Digital and Wholesale. You will bring a program to life across the integrated marketplace, from defining and encouraging the strategic agenda to deploying strategic capabilities. You will lead a excellent team of professionals on a journey to create the future through continuous delivery of measurable business outcomes. You will serve as a key member of the NA Marketplace Operations leadership team, working in close partnership with Global and Geography counterparts and cross-functional partners in Supply Chain, MPO, and Technology, to deliver and implement aligned, actionable plans. You’ll ensure that the capability portfolio is delivering committed value to the organization through extensive strategy planning, portfolio/project management, and transition management processes, including effective adoption of capabilities into the organization. You will also raise the standard for the entire NA MPO organization by overseeing the design and implementation of Learning and Development plans, including training. Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategy development, deployment, approval and implementation of capabilities and processes across the marketplace in partnership with geo channel and process leads, as well as global centers of excellence (COE) and process leads
Partner with global supply chain operations leadership to develop the portfolio
Lead the implementation of specific capabilities from geo for the globe (i.e. globally scalable solutions)
Provide thought motivation and direction through own leadership team
Strengthen geo voice of the marketplace across direct stores, digital and wholesale
Own strategy & capability team operating model and talent development
Support account & channel and season implementation capability development needs
Drive an innovation framework to introduce disrupting operational capabilities in EMEA marketplace
Encourage resource allocation, program management and priority setting to meet overall goals
Develop transition management frameworks to ensure org readiness, adoption and benefits realization
Nurture learning and development program and execution for NA MPO
Develop a talent pipeline that feeds the NA MPO team

QualificationsA minimum 8 years professional experience in a supply chain or project management related function (Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 6 yrs; Masters + 7 yrs; Associates degree + 9 yrs; High School + 10 yrs)
A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, logistics or related area
Master’s Degree in Strategic Planning, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
Process and operations experience, including supply chain, logistics, project management, and process improvement with progressive responsibility
Understanding of the role technology plays now and, in the future,
Experience in highly cross-functional global business environment with the ability to effectively communicate and impact at various levels within a matrixed organization structure, including excellent storytelling skills
Knowledge of retail business including the planning, buying, pricing, receiving, merchandising and selling of components
Demonstrated achievement of high-quality delivery results on time and within budget
Plan development and planning experience
Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
Experience in management and/or project management and process improvement; consultancy is a big advantage
Strategic thinking and vision creation competencies preferred
Excellent communication skills
Results inspired, focus on problem solving
