DescriptionAs our Senior Trim Developer within our licensed team you will partner with Design to define, create and deliver a core and seasonal trim palettes and solutions that meets the needs of the athlete. You will provide a pulse on industry direction and bring new and available innovations to the table. A strong skillset in graphic and soft trim development and manufacturing will allow you to own a holistic understanding of a trim’s capabilities.
You will develop against the seasonal category and material creative vision, and support growth initiatives and go-to-market strategies. You will research and ideate for concept development, test, validate and own technical approval of all trims. You will work towards our Considered Material strategy, collaborate with manufacturing to drive the pricing, process, and serve as a technical trim advisor for product teams.
In this role you will have the opportunity to interact with business teams involved in design, product merchandising, product creation, material manufacturing, and sustainability.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Textile Science, Apparel Engineering, Apparel/Industrial Design or related field
Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in material development, product development or design
2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of trim properties and construction
Licensed/league/team development experience is a plus
Trend and marketplace knowledge is essential
Exceptional application of development skills, including high level concept development
Strong researching and ideating skills
Ability to be creative and technical
Strong consumer knowledge/insight
Exceptional communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Information seeker and strong results orientation
Proven team player
Detailed orientated and organized
Experience managing multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines
Experience communicating and collaborating with global partners
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
