DescriptionThe Air Manufacturing Innovation Finance team is undergoing a transformation to strengthen the foundation and elevate our current financial analysis and business processes in support of strategic goals. This includes improving our gross margin analysis, financial performance metrics and product pricing structure. This position will play a critical role in collaborating with business partners and developing financial models and forecasts. This role will work cross functionally to enable fact-based decision making around product margin, cost drivers, capacity, and operational efficiency. We have a enthusiastic and diverse team tasked to complete complex global projects which bring value to the business. We are looking for a self-starter with new ideas to enhance our team. Key Responsibilities Include•Work with Air MI cross functional teams to assess financial impact of business decisions•Prepare financial models and scenarios for evolving business strategies•Prepare monthly financial forecasts with a focus on continuously improving forecast accuracy by working cross functionally•Play a critical role in developing and modeling Air MI pricing plan•Prepare and effectively communicate monthly and quarterly key metrics for product margin•Provide support and ad hoc reporting as appropriate to key stakeholders including Air MI leaders, Finance leaders and Production teams. •Perform month and quarter end processes surrounding margin analysis•Identify opportunities to improve information flow and transparency of key metrics Qualifications•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a closely related field. Two additional years of experience in lieu of a degree•CPA or MBA a plus•Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.•Experience managing budgets and forecasts preferably relating to product margin•Excellent business and finance acumen plus the ability to connect strategic goals, risk, and business process•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks with senior leadership team•Standout "can do" attitude and enthusiasm to move Air MI forward•Experience with SAP preferred•Manufacturing & costing experience preferred•Proficiency with PowerPoint•Excellent Excel financial modeling capabilities•Ability to pass a 7-year background check NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
