DescriptionAs the Procurement Specialist for North America, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing and finance teams. You will support the North America Brand Marketing team by being the go-to expert for purchase orders, specifically by training brand team members how to navigate the entire PO process, from PO creation, to receiving goods, to getting invoices posted and vendors paid. You will also be the go-to person for troubleshooting PO issues, answering general PO questions, and advising how to setup new vendors. In true Nike spirit, you will seek to improve the dynamics of the procurement environment within North America Brand by helping to establish and drive better training practices, as well as being a thought partner with finance on how to reduce risk. You will maintain and communicate expectations to business partners for adherence to PO policies and training, and ensuring completeness of all PO requests. You will generate reporting several times a month and manage criteria on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


Qualifications2 to 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting
High School Diploma; Associates degree or higher preferred
Intermediate level proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word
Strong background in providing training
Experienced in COUPA and SAP systems required
Ability to work with various members of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter
Strong communication skills
Ability to pass a background check
