DescriptionAs our Inventory Control Specialist for Nike AIR MI, you will work under little supervision, performing all task associated with parts room operations and supporting the maintenance department as necessary. You will provide day to day parts support to the Maintenance group and maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance spare parts. You will be responsible for receiving inventory and that the components have proper descriptions and locations in the parts management system. You’ll be working with purchasing on discrepant and obsolete parts as well as RMA and Warranty parts; Furthermore, you will be the primary backup for the Sr Parts Coordinator. You will also complete daily cycle counts of spare parts inventory and be able to drive a forklift to access inventory. Other requirements include kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50lbs, pushing and pulling of loaded carts.Qualifications• High School diploma or equivalent• Minimum 1-year Parts Room experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environment• Knowledge of parts inventory control methods• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills• Strong working experience with SAP (MM Module)• MRP knowledge• Experience using a forklift is a plus• Forklift license is a plus• Experience working with vendors• Ability to establish and maintain a productive working relationship with other departments• Ability to work independently and perform within a fast-paced environment required NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
