DescriptionAs a Product Developer II for Global Promo Apparel, you will utilize product and process knowledge to execute the development and on-time commercialization of assigned styles. You will collaborate with the Category product teams to understand seasonal product concepts and initiatives. You will be communicating with vendor managers, regional offices, product team members and others to ensure a smooth product development process. For you assigned styles, you will ensure all appropriate development documentation is maintained including product details and prototype notes and communicate these out to the field. You will participate in fit sessions and product reviews with the Category product team. You will be responsible for creating and revising garment Bill of Materials ensuring accuracy for ordering and manufacture. You will identify key product issues in construction, material selection, graphics applications, manufacturing and pricing. You will research and understand manufacturing capabilities in order to be able to anticipate problems, facilitate problem-solving and attain resolution in a timely manner. You will be operating in a collaborative team environment and coordinating with cross-functional and cross-category colleagues involving Product Management, Design, Tech Design, Materials, Sourcing, Product Integrity and Colorists to critique prototypes and other submissions as necessary. In addition, you will maintain data on product development status deadlines and communicate information to team members.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in apparel / textile design, technology, engineering, industrial engineering, or related field required.
2+ years apparel textile industry experience required
Knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, graphic application processes, costing
Good understanding of product creation process from inception through production
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to clearly articulate policies and instructions
Proficient information- seeking skills and a drive for results in a deadline driven environment
Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism
Ability to read and understand product specifications 
Ability to work with a diverse group of people
