As a Technology Product Director for Indirect Source to Pay, you will be a key part in designing and delivering technology solutions that create a frictionless user experience and seamless integration across Nike’s suite of sourcing, procurement, vendor management and payment applications.  You will bring an approach that considers the art of possible while working within existing constraints.  You will leverage your desire for continuous learning to stay up to date or ahead of industry trends, and be relentless in leveraging technology to achieve the business strategy.

You will operate in a scaled agile environment, leading multiple product teams and partnering with Architects, Business Stakeholders, Customers, and Product Owners to create, maintain, and present the Product Vision.  You will also be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of the product. You will define user requirements and collaborate with Product Owners to package the features into product releases throughout the product’s lifecycle.

In this role, you will:Develop and Lead Talent - coach a team of product analysts and product owners, providing timely feedback, with a relentless focus on developing talent and delivering excellence.
Understand Customer Need - maintain close relationships with customers and stakeholders to understand and communicate their needs and participate in validation of the solutions.
Own the Program Backlog – translate business strategies into deliverable technology solutions; gather requirements from existing and potential customers, write product Epic and Feature requirements with success criteria.
Partner with Architecture and Business Stakeholders to determine the optimum release strategy including new features, architecture, and allocations for technical debt.
Understand the budget parameters and strategic themes to guide the strategic direction of the solution and develop the Business Case for Epics in partnership with Epic Owners.
Develop, maintain, and communicate the vision to the Product Owner and collaborate to define feature delivery schedule milestones via product roadmap and backlog refinement.
Define user personas for individual product/solution.
Partner with Architect to conduct Technology Assessments and analyze the customer landscape; collaborate with System/Solution Architects to define and maintain Nonfunctional Requirements within the product roadmap.
Partner with Architect and Solution Manager to determine buy/build/partner decisions.
Analyze and communicate success, productivity, time to market, quality, partner health and team engagement metrics to product stakeholders and Solution Manager.
Provide oversight of strategy, technical, and transition management aspects and has final say on product functionality of all products in his/her portfolio.
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys/analysis to validate customer response and provide fast feedback and prioritized defect resolution and enhancements.
At Scale - Work with Epic Owners to help deconstruct Epics into Program/ART Epics and Features and prioritize them in the Backlog, participates as the Business Owner in PI planning, approve PI Objectives and establishes Business Value
Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Familiarity with Source to Pay processes, programs and technology is strongly preferred, including Coupa, Aravo, Concur, SAP, including integration between the tools
5 years experience in a Product Management or strategy role (e.g., Planner) or requirements development role (e.g., BSA, BA or BPM). Product Management-related certifications a plus.
Experience with Agile development, official Agile certification a plus, using SAFe.
Must have strong business skills and experience; experience leading small (5-7) technology teams.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, including the ability to navigate a diverse set of stakeholders and appropriately challenge the status quo
Experience managing epics and defining features, including defining the benefits case
