DescriptionGlobal Category Merchandising drives assortment direction focused on category consumer right assortments to ensure a holistic, premium, differentiated and elevated marketplace. Global Merchants are responsible for driving NSW category vision marketwide and working with their Geo partners across the integrated marketplace to drive well-informed assortment strategies. As a Merchandising Manager for NSW MENS Footwear, you will be responsible for the following:Understand the male consumer and the marketplace across all geographies. 
Own longterm merchandising strategy for the segment of M’s NSW FTW line.
Manage seasonal assortment strategies that enable segmentation and differentiation for the globe. 
Bring the global strategy to life through creating assortment frameworks that become consumer right assortments and deliver financial goals.
Own Product Journeys in alignment with NRG, Brand, Sales and Product teams on respective segment of the product line.
Drive alignment x-functionally, partnering with GEOs, Global Brand, Sales and Product teams to create meaningful seasonal consumer journeys and make sure GEOs are enabled to bring it to life.
Read/React/Respond. Work with Geo partners, analysts and tools. Own weekly sell-through reports to inform Global x-func teams and suggest actions. Own seasonal bookings reviews, seasonal sell-thru teardowns and hindsighting. 
Own seasonal execution as it relates to initiatives, assortments, launch strategies, etc.
Collaborate cross-categorically, and ensure NSW MEN’s merchandising strategies are executed in harmony each season. 
Supervise merchandising associate, set clear objectives, track progress and coach. 
Partner with our Nike Direct counterparts to drive and execute consumer right assortments for Nike Retail. 
Develop and maintain key relationships between our cross-functional teammates, ensuring alignment and collaboration at all key gates and dates. 
Foster key relationships with Geography counterparts, ensuring timely communication and tools empowering regional execution of assortment strategies, segmentation, and product knowledge.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field 
4 years' of proven and tested experience in merchandising, buying or integrated retail related role
Demonstrate strong consumer / marketplace understanding 
Demonstrated leadership capability, including ability to motivate, lead, negotiate and influence
Strong business management including analytical aptitude, and retail acumen
Ability to partner, collaborate, keep an open mind
Proficiency with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. KeyNote, MMX and AV are a plus
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
