DescriptionThis is a unique and exciting opportunity for a high potential candidate to work closely with the teams responsible for creating the future of footwear within a performance category. As the Senior Financial Analyst for Global Categories, you will be responsible for partnering with our Footwear Product Teams to translate strategic margin targets into seasonal margin plans while ensuring alignment with category leadership. You'll proactively identify the revenue and margin implications of category business decisions and articulate solutions that meet the needs of business partners. You'll track and evaluate margin attainment each season and work with the category team on scenario plans to improve margins. You will provide ad hoc margin analysis to the team and be a strategic business partner to influence price, cost and demand for strategic initiatives and product innovation. This role partners with Product Creation, Merchandising, Demand Planning, and Marketplace teams to strengthen cross-functional goals. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field
Demonstrated high-performer who shows separation from peers
Excellent written and verbal communication/influencing skills
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and to run financial models
Demonstrated experience in effectively supporting and working with senior leadership
Experience leading projects and people
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to pass a 7 year background check
3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting preferred
MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company or national public accounting firm is a plus
Knowledge of footwear sourcing, processes, and events from product concept to delivery is a plus
