DescriptionAs the Nike Sportswear Brand Manager, you will work to inspire and enable the next generation of athletes.  You will serve as the voice of the Nike consumer and protector of the brand.  You will work with cross-category counterparts in Basketball, Running, and Women’s to facilitate the offense.   

You will take a lead role in the creation and execution of category and seasonal initiatives that nurture brand strength, create demand and forge unbreakable relationships with our consumers.  You will contribute to the team’s development of strategy, implementation, and evaluation of plans, leading the efforts of cross-functional and regional teams across the globe.

You will mine consumer insights that fuel these plans and manage budgets necessary to bring them to life.

Core Responsibilities: Know and engage the global Sportswear consumer to provide valuable insights and ensure targeted programs are driving category success.
Lead the development and execution of seasonal and category marketing programs in support of our key franchises inclusive of Air Force 1 and Tech Pack.
Sell in and enrich global category strategy and assets within Geo markets.
Develop relationships with key partners – athletes, influencers, events, media, content partners - to ensure that category is driving multi-dimensional and relevant brand voice.
Contribute to development of membership proposition to create, serve, and retain consumers; accelerating our competitive advantage in market.
Focus on product marketing, working closely with product and marketplace teams to align on seasonal stories and help deliver consumer-right assortments for digital and doors.  
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. 
7+ years’ experience in consumer marketing inclusive of strategy, planning and implementation.
Experience developing cross-channel marketing campaigns in fashion, retail, lifestyle, youth marketing, entertainment, and/or tech field.
Love of sport and a genuine understanding of why it matters.
Sense of mission – having something within that compels you to apply energy and creativity towards achieving it.
Concrete experience managing complex projects, programs and activations that have heavy dependencies requiring excellent leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders.  
Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to motivate others within a work group.
Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
Calm under pressure while exuding proficiency and “can do” attitude.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
