DescriptionNorth America Nike Digital Commerce is leading with its 2X Direct strategy by doubling its connection to consumers, leveraging digital and partners.  New partner business models include drop-ship with strategic wholesale partners, entering new digital marketplaces, and enabling commerce on social & media platforms to be in the consumers path.  As the North America Nike Direct Digital Partnerships Merchandise Planner, part of the Demand and Supply Management (DSM) organization, you'll partner with merchandising to create an assortment grounded in profitability and a consumer centric offering tailored to the partner and create clear merchandising plans for each that ensures inventory availability of that assortment. This will include collaborating with a variety of cross-functional partners and strategic wholesale accounts to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial plans and product opportunities. You'll recap and analyze the business against the financial plan and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings.  In addition, you'll monitor item level performance by account to recommend assortment changes and collaborate with Nike.com merchandise planning partners to identify inventory optimization strategies. This is a fast paced & high visibility position where you will depend on strong collaboration across numerous teams at Nike to build this new business model.You'll collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge. In addition, you'll participate in a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance, supporting and fostering an open and inclusive environment that embraces diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
5 years' retail relevant experience in merchandise planning, financial planning, merchandising or allocation
2 additional years' experience is generally accepted in lieu of degree
Past experience working in a vertical retailer and/or e-commerce and managing relationships with external partners (is preferred but not limited to)
Retail Math including intricacies of open to buy and gross margin, retail and financial experience
PC literate with advanced knowledge of Excel
Ability to effectively communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources
Strong knowledge of cross team collaboration
