DescriptionAs the Senior Director of Disaster Recovery and Multi Region Strategy your primary responsibility will be to develop the vision, program, and to implement Disaster Recovery, Multi-Region capabilities across consumer facing systems, platforms in partnership with Architecture, Engineering and Program organizations. You will cultivate long term resilience plans including business and technical recovery across cloud and on prem hosted production systems. You will nurture development of a multi region cloud strategy and implementation for Nike Direct technologies. Scope includes mobile, web technologies and backend systems supporting the fulfillment, support and financial reconciliation for consumer and retail based transactions. This position requires a self-motivated, influential, adaptable team member with excellent technical and communication skills as well as meaningful program management skills. In addition, this position requires someone who can coordinate teams of architects, engineers, and product owners (from VP level to individual contributor) and can work in a productive environment. ResponsibilitiesStrengthen the Development, Implementation and Testing of Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Nike Direct Technologies
Develop Multi-region (MR) vision, programs and implementation
Affect the prioritization of DR, MR work in squad backlogs
Drive Disaster Recovery, Multi-Region best practices, standards into architecture, engineering teams
Applies broad business and management expertise to strengthen financial and operational performance across departments
Qualifications10+ years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert
Proven track record of High-Profile communication written and verbal
Has bias for action and a desire for measurable results
Demonstration of strong influencing skills
Ability to drive and support complex, large scale programs
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people and across organizations – through senior leaders, peers and matrix direct reports
Strong experience in Disaster Recovery and Technical Recovery Planning
Well versed in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
Hands-on experience with Cloud (Public Cloud specific – AWS experience a PLUS)
Ability to pass a 7 year background investigation
