DescriptionWith an bold long-term growth strategy, NIKE is counting on our Corporate Audit and Strategic Enterprise Risk function to drive and deliver value to every NIKE shareholder. Our Corporate Audit & Assurance team is known across Nike as excellent partners of management helping to optimize risk, guide compliance, and create new ways to serve Nike’s consumers around the world.
As the Product & Operations Audit Director, you will lead a highly experienced team collaborating with NIKE teammates across Product, Sourcing and Manufacturing, and Operations and Logistics. This includes subjects such as materials/product development and compliance, manufacturing source base management, transportation and distribution center operations, and marketplace operations. You’ll be a critical member of connecting our Consumer Direct Offense and Triple Double strategies to the deployment of effective and risk-informed processes and controls throughout this domain.
Effective candidates will have excellent capabilities to lead and communicate with executive leaders, significant business acumen to improve NIKE’s operations in service to the consumer, and outstanding ability to lead and develop a team of future NIKE leaders. You will help provide objective assurance and unique insights to ensure the Board of Directors, Audit & Finance Committee, and Senior Leadership are equipped to make effective business decisions that will strengthen NIKE into the future
Key responsibilities include: Maintain up-to-date understanding of NIKE’s internal and external risk landscape, in particular as it relates to product development & creation, sourcing & manufacturing, and global/marketplace operations & logistics. • Direct audit and consulting projects across the globe connecting NIKE’s strategic goals to the effectiveness of operations and controls. • Maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with key leaders across product and operations, leveraging breadth of exposure to operations to offer unique insights that better equip key team members to optimize risk. • Lead and develop a team of highly skilled audit and risk professionals, preparing them to be future leaders at Nike. • Be an integral member of the leadership team of Corporate Audit & Risk Management, contributing to CA+RM’s functional strategic plan development and implementation to further establish our portfolio of audit and risk services.

Bachelors degree.
Relevant certification (CPA, CIA, etc.) preferred or advanced degree (MBA, etc.).
10+ years of business experience. Preferred experience in corporate audit and/or management consulting with exposure/expertise in product development, contract manufacturing, distribution networks preferred.
Experience with global consumer brand enterprises preferred.
Demonstrated experience guiding through significant organizational change
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and guide across all levels in a diverse and matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity to set team direction and encourage actionable results.
Ability to lead complex projects across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Ability to travel 20 - 30% (domestic and international)
