DescriptionAs a North America Customer Finance Credit Analyst, you participate in the credit risk management of Nike’s and Converse’s portfolio of wholesale partners. A high level of communication, financial analysis, leadership, strategic thinking and influencing skills will be utilized to analyze and evaluate complex financial information in a highly competitive, goal oriented business. While possessing a deep sense of urgency, you will use your financial analysis, problem solving, and organization skills to take actions and deliver recommendations that directly impact Nike’s bottom line. In addition, effective verbal and written communication skills are utilized to build partnerships with key business stakeholders. A high level of professionalism is critical to network, impact and utilize internal and external resources. Key Components to the Job Include:Taking ownership in managing credit risk for Nike’s and Converse’s wholesale partners spanning the US and Canada through:
Utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical acumen to review account performance, customer financial statements, and other industry data
Identifying key risks, trends, and mitigants
Translating analysis into a “story” with tangible recommendations which are used by senior leadership in determining strategic account objectives
Leveraging financial acumen, astute judgement, internal resources, and knowledge of wholesale partners to make critical decisions for the release of orders
Developing and maintaining relationships with key wholesale accounts
Taking leadership roles in collaborating with diverse group of stakeholders across Nike and Converse
Performing other ad-hoc reports/projects as needed
QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in financial analysis (MBA a plus) with demonstrated ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into a tangible recommendation
Background in finance, and/or accounting with working knowledge of GAAP – experience in lending or credit is preferred
Naturally inquisitive and creative with the ability to deliver creative solutions
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective meeting facilitator
Excellent ability to develop and maintain positive business partnerships and to affect change
Constant team player attitude and ability to work with a diverse group of team members
Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Ability to pass a 7-year background check
