DescriptionAs our Senior Engineering Technician, you will be working in a lab environment with other Technicians and Engineers to create and sustain footwear aesthetic technologies and processes for Air Manufacturing Innovation. Your role will be to create aesthetic samples and standards, test aesthetic performance, and assist in process development for new aesthetics. You will collect data, document work, and write reports, as well as be called upon to verbally explain procedures and results. At times you will contribute to the development and writing of new procedures. You will also perform tasks such as project tracking and inventory control. You must complete work with little supervision, in a timely manner, be a self-starter, and be able to work with ambiguity. 
QualificationsB.S. Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Engineering, or equivalent; 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Works well within a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Experience in lab procedures and using analytical tools a plus.
Previous coatings and ink formulation experience a plus.
Experience in product development support a plus.
Physical requirementsMay be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull.
May be frequently required to exert force or lift up to 30 pounds.
May be exposed to fumes, gases, and airborne particles with proper PPE.
May be called upon to perform physical checks requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify quality flaws and distinguish color differences of components.
