DescriptionWith an aggressive long-term growth strategy, NIKE is counting on our Global Finance organization to thrive in its mission: to drive and deliver value to every NIKE shareholder. As the Finance Director for the Global Sourcing & Manufacturing (GSM) SG&A team, you will join one of the most dynamic global consumer brands in a role at the heart of the 2x speed and 2x innovation offense.As the Finance Director, SG&A, reporting to the VP, Manufacturing Finance, you will oversee the in-year budgeting, forecasting and reporting process for GSM’s operating budget, creating timely and consistent financial analysis that identifies trends, concerns, and opportunities to help our business partners deliver against their operating strategies. For longer-range planning, you will lead the finance-related CSR, RTP and AOP process and deliverables and partner with GSM Strategic Planning in providing strategic financial guidance to the business. On a daily basis, you will engage with key members of GSM’s team, strategic planning, HR, Controlling, Finance team members in partner management offices around the world, Global Operations Finance, and Global Business Planning, fulfilling the important role of advocate for the GSM organization while also working within our financial guardrails. You will also lead a team of two: a Finance Manager and a Senior Finance Analyst.Demonstrated information-seeking and critical thinking skills, an attention to detail paired with the ability to perceive the bigger picture, meaningful organizational skills, and the ability to simplify the complex will all be critical to your results. A focus on anticipating problems, identifying opportunities, providing creative solutions and seeking continuous improvement will also benefit you in this role. Finally, effective written and verbal communication skills are imperative as you partner with teammates of all levels in various functions worldwide. 8+ years’ experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, and/or accounting
Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic team leadership, implement best practices, and recruit, mentor and train team members
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, be results-oriented, and work productively within a matrixed organization
Work comfortably in an environment of ambiguity
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP (BW, ECCS), TM1 and/or Tableau is preferred
