This position is responsible for leading the compliance program development and HR Compliance for Nike Direct.
Develop and execute a strategy that identifies and manages key risks to Nike Direct
Design and build a risk control framework that will support Nike Direct
Establishing the short and long-term strategy for Risk Governance, OE, Policy Management and other high-profile projects
Identify and build a policy governance and control program to ensure consistency across Geo’s while supporting the needs for localization
Manage a Nike Direct risk governance model to drive localized action with clear oversight and partnering with appropriate stakeholders to track risks and mitigation activities
Cultivate insights and best practices through industry connections
Create additional KPI’s for key strategies to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the programs
Develop relationships with global and geo partners and become a trusted resource on existing programs and control functions
Leads and develops a team
Participates as a member of the Risk & Control leadership team
Selects, leads and develops a qualified team to achieve business goals as needed
Communicates goals and maximizes resources
Manages and leads budget awareness and ensures resource availability to implement programs
Effectively balances time and resources between GEO HQ and Field Teams as needed
Drive effective communication
Directs the communication of goals and vision within R&C and key internal partners
Creates and maintains strong partnerships with Resilience, CA+RM, Employee Relations and Legal teams
Ensures that all aspects of the business needs are represented in planning and priorities
Partners with and influences peers, including Global and Geo teams
QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Business
5 years’ experience with developing and leading a compliance organization
Thorough understanding of retail store systems
Certifications Desired – CCB – CCEP, CCEP-I
Experience influencing senior leadership to drive results
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation and presentations
Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives
Strong time management and organization skills
Leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others within work group
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse global group
Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources
Some travel will be required to accomplish business objectives, domestic and international.
