DescriptionThe North America Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for supporting and developing a team of Representatives and Analysts who are accountable for management of Nike’s and Converse’s A/R asset. You will develop the team to align their performance with key strategic goals and metrics of the North America Customer Finance (NACF) Department and monitor and track processes to ensure activities are performed per compliance policies. You will provide guidance to all team members, as well as provide coaching and guidance for career development. You will promote Nike’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and act to promote the Nike culture. Key Responsibilities:Ongoing performance management against core responsibilities (“Job 1”) related to accounts receivable management
Perform ongoing data analysis/monitoring
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on key performance indicators related to Customer Finance and A/R management
Monitor the team’s results against key indicators
Produce key reports and communications to various levels; facilitate meetings and checkpoints with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Partner and improve relationships with key stakeholders – internal and external
Define and develop the vision and strategy for the NACF A/R team; align with and support Nike’s strategic initiatives
Adhere to policy and regulatory requirements
Maintain a pulse on the industry/market
Lead/Educate/Facilitate/Inspire team
QualificationsBA/BS Degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting, or other related field
5-10 years of work experience in Financial Operations, Billing Operations, Accounting/Audit, Supply Chain, Lending, or other related field
Demonstrated leadership skills in prior role(s), including ability to motivate direct reports
Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP preferred
Skillful ability to lead, develop, coach, drive and inspire a team
Effective verbal & written communication skills
Compelling use of storytelling to influence & engage others
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across teams and leadership levels
Record of process improvements, innovations, and win-win solutions
Ability to adapt and lead through times of change
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and make sound decisions
