DescriptionAs our Product and Gross Margin Financial Analyst, you will be a part of a enthusiastic team that is passionate about encouraging continuous performance improvement and growth within the APLA Latin Partners Business. You will be responsible in managing the Pricing and Export Letter of Credits for APLA Latin Partners, applying fundamental concepts and principles in a professional and technical discipline, evaluative and/or advisory in nature. You will establish and communicate the Price List and respond to any pricing related inquiries to the Distributors, and elevate any issues to the Latin Partners Management Team. You will liaise with the DP and Purchasing Team to obtain the most updated demand, and align in terms of proforma creation timelines and drive pricing process improvements. You will collaborate with GM, Finance and Merchandising to identify strategic pricing action to sustain profitability. Trade Finance
You will communicate with the Distributors the desired monthly financial coverage, evaluate/review the accuracy of financial, and transport documents to ensure timely shipment of products. You will be working closely with Operations Team in releasing orders for shipment. You will send copy of invoices along with the transport documents to the bank for confirmation. You will communicate and follow up with the banks on any LC discrepancies they call out and fix it as soon as possible to minimize delays in shipment.
QualificationsRequirements for the position:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting and/or related fields
Knowledge of accounting procedures and concepts, export letter of credits, basic financial planning principles and corporate finance
Excellent critical thinking skills
Excellent negotiation, communication and influencing skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook
Ability to work with diverse cultures and teams
Ability to care for multiple competing priorities
Knowledge in SAP is desired
Detailed and goal oriented
Ability to speak the Spanish language is a plus
