DescriptionThe Lab Operations Specialist II will possess excellent problem-solving skills, focus on results, and demonstrate effectiveness in managing competing priorities. As a Lab Operations Specialist II, you will support WHQ’s footwear lab through ensuring a safe work environment, by maintaining a clean, organized lab and facilitating training as necessary. You will support instrument calibration and PM tracking, scheduling, and consumables inventory. You will engage with strategic partners to create and develop training materials and courses related to footwear mechanical and material testing. You will support maintaining the Global Footwear Lab website to reflect current methods, team members, capabilities, and procedures as well as participate in its continued development. The Lab Operations Specialist II will perform the materials commercialization procedures related to the setup of new materials.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and minimum of two years relevant work experience.
In-depth knowledge of Nike footwear testing methodology and product creation processes preferred.
Experience with SharePoint, document control strategies and information management preferred
In-depth knowledge of PDM, PCX, and LTM systems preferred
Experience with the material setup process, including Principle Palette material commercialization preferred
Experience crafting narrative and training films, including but not limited to producing, shooting, and editing preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Comfortable presenting scripted and un-scripted material in various formats to groups of all sizes
Ability to travel occasionally (0-5%)
