DescriptionWill support an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform landscape by performing upgrades, builds, and implementation of EDI platforms in Beaverton, OR. Will support middleware projects and advanced production of crucial middleware interfaces. Will collaborate with EDI teams for development, quality assurance, operations, and production support to maintain and evaluate EDI platform stability. Will establish and evaluate the platform capacity plan for the EDI platform and recommend and implement EDI platform architecture changes based upon the evolving capacity plan. Will define data formats, record layouts, and file structures, and will participate in performance testing and release migration of integration applications. Will provide the highest escalation level of support in the overall EDI platform infrastructure. Will engage and communicate with EDI vendors and trading partners. Will utilize EDI mapping using commercial translation software, including IBM / Sterling Gentran Server, IBM / Sterling B2B, and GIS on UNIX. Will use ANSI, VICS, and EDIFACT, including syntax rules and guidelines. Will work with Unix and Linux OS experience. Will engage in Unix scripting, WLST scripting, XML data mapping, and Java programming. Will use EDI communication methods, including FTP, SFTP, VANS, AS2, and Direct Connects. Will engage in automating configuration and performance testing. Will utilize integration experience with ERP systems. Will operate within a public cloud infrastructure, including AWS. QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering Experience: five years of overall progressive experience in application engineering. Will also accept a master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering and three years of experience in application engineering. Skills/Requirements: 3 years of experience. (1) designing architecture to operate inside of AWS; (2) New Relic; (3) system administration across Linux, inclusive of operating system patching, management, and general support; (4) leading, developing, and managing EDI integration projects, including interacting with business partners to gather requirements to develop engineering to support and implement EDI projects; (5) integration tooling, including IBM B2B; (6) communication protocols, including SOAP, SFG, SFTP, FTPS, AS2, HTTP, HTTPS, and VAN; (7) mapping and data analysis of EDI transactions; and (8) integration with ERP systems, including prior knowledge of SAP.
