We redefine the word “dynamic” on a daily basis.As a Director of Program Management, you will lead a highly visible team of Program Managers and Scrum Masters that are passionate about delivering consumer experiences and initiatives for The effective candidate will: · Lead the design, approach, and implementation of Program direction, using Agile practices and mindset, through teams supporting the Cart & Checkout organization· Lead financial strategic planning for Cart & Checkout in partnership with our strategic operations team. Be a point person for key initiative ownership from a program dimension· Own program scope, change, risk management. Facilitate mitigation through relevant stakeholders and governance processes· Define, implement and monitor metrics and KPIs to report project status and ensure ongoing strategic alignment with short and long-term business goals· Establish and maintain best practices for: utilizing standardized frameworks, instruments and operational processes related to project management, collaboration, knowledge management, resource planning, vendor management, and dashboards· Guide project budget, cope and conduct resource mitigation planning for risks that are proactively identified· Develop departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities. · Identify and resolve complex operational and organizational problems· Manage a team of Program Managers and Scrum Masters; set team and team member goals that align with department and function goals· Develop a team environment that maximizes the performance of team members and the team as a wholeCOMPETENCIES · Enterprise-level Program/Project Management · Mentoring Program/Project Teams · Excellent Leadership Skills · Capacity Planning / Management / OptimizationQualifications· A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related field. MBA preferred. · 8-10 years of experience developing and managing large-scale programs; should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or as a leader in a functional role. · Minimum of 7 years’ experience working on technology products or projects · Minimum 5 years’ experience managing multiple simultaneous large, complex programs in an engaged environment, with accountability of deadlines and value propositions. · Demonstrated results in cross-functional integration/relationships and program implementation · Deep understanding of application and implementation of program metrics and KPI’s · Ability to facilitate large-scale change/projects · Experience and adaptability working in both waterfall and agile development environments. Experience with SAFe or another scaled framework is a plus.· Demonstrated achievement of being results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve bold goals. · Must excel working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others. · Excellent written and oral communications skills · Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments · Experience working in a highly matrixed organization · Demonstration of excellent influencing skills NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
