Using channels ranging from retail stores to social media, Marketing & Communication teams connect the science and art of Nike innovations to the hearts and minds of athletes around the world.As our Category Director, Global Football you will take the lead role in crafting and executing category and seasonal initiatives that strengthen brand strength, build demand, and forge unbreakable relationships with the consumers. You’ll become an expert on the Nike Football consumer. You will contribute to the team’s development of strategy, implementation, and evaluation of plans, leading the efforts of cross-functional and regional teams across the globe.The right candidate will work to inspire and enable the next generation of athletes. We want someone who can serve as a voice of the Nike consumer and protector of the Brand. Our ideal candidate has experience managing complex projects, programs and activations. And has developed cross-channel marketing campaigns in fashion, retail, lifestyle, youth marketing, entertainment, and/or tech field. You will work with cross-category counterparts in Sportswear, Basketball, Running, and Women’s to strengthen the offense. Maintain relationships with key partners – athletes, clubs, federations, and influencers - to ensure that this category is driving a multi-dimensional and relevant brand voice. You will work with cross functional business partners across merchandising, marketplace, operations, footwear, and apparel to build consumer right concepts that manifest for consumers across the world. Additionally, you will take these seasonal concepts to create marketing strategies and executions through close collaboration with marketing functions and our Geo and city counterparts to strengthen these from concept to implementation. Focus on product marketing, working closely with product and marketplace teams to align on seasonal stories and help build consumer-right assortments for digital and doors.Qualifications•8+ years’ experience in consumer marketing inclusive of strategy, planning and implementation•Experience navigating complex, cross-functional relationships to realize a creative vision•Experience developing marketing strategies and executing those strategies•Experience briefing creative teams•Experience leading teams globally•Experience managing seasonal planning across multiple channel•Experience incorporating consumer data, analytics and insights to cultivate results•Ability to meet all travel requirements (25%)•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is a plus
