DescriptionAs the Super Core Footwear Manager you will be a finance leader on the Footwear Super Core team, responsible for catalyzing sustainable and profitable growth for the division across performance and lifestyle. You will manage a team of 2 high-performing Margin Planners to deliver growth and profitability in line with the Nike Inc., Global Footwear, and Global Category strategic priorities. Among the most important accountabilities are: Lead the Super Core margin planning process throughout the Footwear product creation lifecycle driving alignment of our Financial and Strategic Goals
Support and be a key team member to the Super Core Leadership team
Support the long range strategic and Seasonal planning processes for NIKE’s Footwear business
Facilitate cross functional alignment and collaboration – provide visibility & communication with core product creation, category teams, and global teams; including finance, merchandising, cost engineering, demand planning, etc.
Develop insights to highlight and influence priorities of the Global Footwear Product Engine
Strategic thought partnership - developing guardrails to drive profitability while fostering an entrepreneurial environment.
Perform analysis that aids in the decision-making process and helps improve profitability as well as on new business opportunities.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a closely related field
6 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, and/or budgeting/forecasting
MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and develop robust financial models
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in effectively working with Management and Cross Functional teams
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Ability to pass a 7 year background check
