DescriptionNike footwear costing is complex, requiring alignment with partners in multiple functions across the globe. Today’s footwear costing process is not working for Nike, or our factory partners. Aligning PCX, the information backbone system that will deliver product creation excellence, with NCF methodology facilitates an end-to-end costing process that is predictable, scalable, and enables us to unlock product excellence and 2X speed. Nike Costing takes us from 14 different costing methodologies to one costing framework, and consolidates over 20 product creation tools into one connected tool. This is a game changer for all of us.Project Operations Liaison Manager, Nike Costing, will be the key conduit between the Nike Costing teams and stakeholders residing in Beaverton, OR and the functions throughout Asia dedicated to costing project activities to help ensure a excellent operational foundation for the newly launched Nike Costing Framework.ResponsibilitiesThis team member will facilitate the following:Support framework evolution and operational excellence by highlighting key connection points across functions.
Support critical data analysis through knowledge of costing data sources, planning systems, and stakeholders
Drive the development of reporting instruments/dashboards to inform stakeholders of Nike Costing achievements across the supply chain
Create connection between data and strategy; facilitate process and continuous improvement across many organizations
Partner with teams in Asia to drive solutions that seek to support program direction and provide leadership updates
Work with technical engineers, PCX, and PMO counterparts to ensure standard processes and documentation is being followed
CharacteristicsDemonstrated history of getting things done in complex, developing environments, an ability to contextualize as well as maneuver within the E2E value chain, implement change and standardize processes
A self-starter mentality, balanced with being a team player that can take a collaborative approach
Ability to develop cross cultural strategies and use teamwork for complex problem-solving, with an excitement and facilitate to work through ambiguity
Demonstrated ability to influence and facilitate work across cross-functional teams
Clear, effective communications of work status to both functional stakeholders and leadership
Qualifications5 years experience in large matrixed companies leading programs/ initiatives with an emphasis on costing or strategic finance processes
Strong familiarity with Nike processes in global sourcing and manufacturing and product development
Strong data intrepretation and reporting acumen
Prior background in supply planning, data analytics and footwear manufacturing concepts
Aptitude with supply chain systems and data sources for reporting purposes
Demonstrated ability to drive results in highly ambiguous environments
Demonstrated capability to frame issues and solutions that are immediate but that can also scale
