DescriptionAs a Global Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) Director, you will be developing a very passionate, creative team in Global Procurement with a high level of collaboration with the Global Operations and Logistics team.This role will lead the strategy and implementation around SRM for all Logistics Partners at NIKE’s Portfolio where you will develop, deploy and manage vendor performance / compliance standards as well as strengthen continuity across the Global Logistics and Operations in partnership with NIKE Geographies.In this role you will:Utilize your supply chain, supplier relationship management expertise to deploy logistics SRM initiatives with internal/external supply chain leaders
Need experience on logistics processes and landscape of the Logistics Sector (Freight Forwarding, Ocean Carriers, 3PL, Last Mile, Technology) to impact and develop suppliers to deliver Nike Capabilities
Collaboration with global and geography teams to ensure the highest level and consistency of performance, HSE & Labor practices and technology is maintained across Nike Inc.’s suppliers, and actively seek their input and perspective when making improvements to existing resources/processes, solving problems and making decisions
Develop risk assessment instruments for sourcing processes to assess risks in sourcing decisions and the impact of those decisions to optimize time; effort; value and risk
Provide support, advice and guidance to managers, and lead on areas such as market analysis, supplier development, tender processes, data analysis and negotiation to ensure savings are delivered within a best practice framework following Sourcing processes and governance
Work with Finance to devise, collect and analyze spend and market data in support of procurement strategies
Articulate and track the value of SRM over time and bring new ideas and approaches from external sources to keep the SRM program fresh, relevant and efficient
Be expected to navigate the Nike “Matrix” of internal stakeholders and collaboratively make fact-based decisions informed by collective expertise, strategic business priorities, stakeholder input, and most importantly data driven metrics
Structure, Plan and Facilitate strategy session with strategic logistics partners and internal NIKE stakeholders (eg. project, performance, compliance updates and reviews)
Develop a new supplier recognition program and set up and run an annual supplier recognition program
Develop and implement project plans leveraging project management instruments/methods
Build and manage transition to ensure business change readiness with stakeholders (eg. roles/responsibilities, processes, tools, systems)
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business and/or Industrial Engineer is preferred
Minimum 10 years of practical experience within Logistics / Supply Chain Operational performance, contracting + setting-up service levels, pricing models, supplier relationship development, supplier performance and compliance management
Minimum 5 years practical compliance experience developing, influencing, and executing HSE, Labor, Technology, Resilience
Demonstrated achievement in managing business partners relationship
Experience in transformational leadership concepts, project management, change management, and theory of change in a matrixed organization
Experience developing, defining and implementing vendor performance metrics
Problem Solving and Analytical mindset
Ability to maintain flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines
Experience in leading cross-cultural, cross-functional and virtual teams (including functionally diverse work)
Effective written and verbal communication skills (including ability to define problems and lead teams in solving them)
High level of proficiency in using desktop resources for communication and analysis, including MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Others
