DescriptionWith a bold long-term growth strategy, NIKE is counting on our Corporate Audit and Risk Management (CA+RM) team to cultivate and deliver value to every NIKE shareholder. CA+RM is known across Nike as excellent partners of management, helping to optimize risk, guide compliance, and create new ways to serve Nike’s consumers around the world.As the Transformation and Integrated Assurance Director, you will support CA+RM’s Assurance and Strategic Enterprise Risk functions and lead matrixed teams of audit and risk management professionals addressing key risks throughout Nike’s digital transformation. An effective candidate will seamlessly join a consulting organization passionate about providing Assurance & Audit capabilities that help strengthen and maintain Nike’s business results and control environment.This will come to life as you lead and strengthen several workstreams:• Engaging with leadership teams responsible for delivering Nike’s largest enterprise transformation initiatives. Key aspects of this will entail audit engagement with Program & Portfolio Management teams, leading pre/post-implementation program reviews, and ensuring risk and control considerations are built into these initiatives.• Partner across the “3 Lines of Defense” to strengthen alignment on vision, goals, and roadmap, as well as deliver and mature integrated risk management capabilities for Nike, Inc. This work will be defined and delivered in close partnership with Nike’s Strategic Enterprise Risk team.• Leverage and pioneer uses of data & analytics to develop “continuous audit” capabilities across Nike’s global footprint, including designing continuous audit requirements into new capabilities deployed at Nike through company and functional initiatives. This work will be defined and delivered in close partnership with the other Audit directors as well as the CA+RM Data Enablement Team.• Define and ensure consistent deployment of integrated audit teams across the diverse CA+RM project portfolio.You will help provide aim assurance and unique insights to the Board of Directors, Audit & Finance Committee, and Nike senior leadership to support effective business decisions that will strengthen Nike into the future. Competitive candidates will have excellent leadership, executive communication and cross-functional partnership skills, broad knowledge of risks and controls, diverse and practical innovation experience, and demonstrated digital and data expertise. Key responsibilities include:• Lead audit engagement with company cross-functional initiatives, including helping to consistently and effectively address key risks across the Nike portfolio of transformation initiatives. • Provide thought leadership on managing risk across a range of program delivery types, including agile, waterfall, and advanced R&D.• Maintain collaborative and constructive relationships with key leaders across the 3 lines of defense to define and deliver the roadmap for maturing Nike’s integrated risk management capabilities (people, process, tools, & data)• Direct the expansion and deployment of continuous audit capabilities across Nike’s global footprint. • Provide thought leadership and strategy setting on deploying integrated audit teams across the portfolio of CA+RM projects.• Direct audit and consulting projects across the globe connecting NIKE’s strategic goals to the effectiveness of operations and controls. • Lead and develop highly skilled audit and risk professionals, preparing them to be future leaders at Nike. • Be an integral member of the leadership team of Corporate Audit & Risk Management, contributing to CA+RM’s functional strategic plan development and implementation to further establish our portfolio of audit and risk services.QualificationsBachelor’s degree & 10+ years of business experience.
Relevant certification (CPA, CIA, etc.) preferred or advanced degree (MBA, etc.).
Preferred experience in corporate audit and/or management consulting with expertise in portfolio and program management, integrated risk management
Experience applying data & analytics in audit operations and/or enterprise risk management practicesExperience with global consumer brand enterprises preferred.
Demonstrated experience guiding through significant organizational change.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and guide across all levels in a diverse and matrixed organization.
Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity to set team direction and encourage actionable results.
Ability to lead complex projects across a diverse set of stakeholders.
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international)
