DescriptionAs the Nike Universal Ease Athlete and Influencer Marketing Manager, you will work to inspire and enable athletes of all abilities to connect with Nike through Universal Ease innovations, brand marketing activations, and community partnership projects. You will help to amplify the voice of Nike’s Universal Rebel athletes to drive enterprise growth for the brand and business. You will work with sports marketing, category marketing, and influencer marketing to change how the world perceives what it means to be an athlete*. You will expand global awareness of Universal Ease solutions to new ability consumers through outreach and partnership with traditional and non-traditional influencers (ability community, medical influencers, cultural influencers) in all Geos and key cities. You will take a lead role in the creation and execution of athlete and influencer strategies and partner with digital innovation and marketing teammates on seasonal initiatives to forge unbreakable relationships with new Universal Ease consumers. You will contribute to the team’s development of strategy, implementation, and evaluation of plans by mining consumer, athlete and influencer insights. You will manage budgets necessary to bring strategies to life.Core Responsibilities: - Identify and engage elite to everyday ability athletes to be Nike ambassadors. - Drive increased brand representation of athletes of all abilities – from brand defining campaigns to Category concepts to 365 editorial- Identify and engage cultural and other influencers/champions of equality and inclusion to endorse and promote Nike Universal Ease products- Lead the development and execution of seasonal cross-category and category-specific activations with partner organizations (Challenged Athletes Foundation, Special Olympics)- Work closely with Sports Marketing, Olympics and Category teams to drive Nike’s Paralympics strategy and provide Paralympians with an equal invitation to play, train, compete and celebrate sport together.- Expand marketplace with key players in medical/rehab/OT communities through representing Nike at trade shows, conferences, keynotes- Excite and inspire Nike’s 70k+ employee base with internal adaptive athlete activations - Partner with Retail Brand Marketing and Geo Captains on inclusivity and product training for Nike Store athletes, adaptive mannequins program- Represent Nike as an adaptive athlete, advocate, ambassador at external functions and events.Qualifications- Adaptive athlete with proven track record of successfully representing Nike innovations for Para/adaptive athletes- 10 or more years of experience in serving ability community with outreach and marketing activations- Extensive network of contacts and influencer relationships in adaptive sports, USOC, USPC- Expertise in public speaking as an adaptive athlete, on behalf of organizations and athletes- Experience and expertise in championing equality and inclusion causes- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field- Sense of mission –apply energy and creativity towards achieving it. - Concrete experience managing complex projects, programs and activations that have heavy dependencies requiring excellent leadership to align multiple teams and stakeholders. - Demonstrated leadership ability, including the ability to motivate others within a work group. - Ability to travel at least 20% of the time. - Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
