Supply Chain
The Nike, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
DescriptionAs our Sr. Cross-Functional Business Consultant you will support the delivery of key/strategic Nike capabilities across the Global-Nike Inc. landscape. Your involvement in key/strategic multi-year efforts will assist Nike in realizing significant operational and financial benefits. You will be collaborating across the many aspects of the Nike Supply Chain - processes, functions, geographies, and business units in both business and technology aspects. You will assist in driving project lifecycles for multiple phases of key strategic initiatives including cross-functional process design, development, implementation/transitions and coordination across geographies and business units. You'll work cross-functionally across business and technology teams supporting initiatives throughout the Nike organization, focusing on incorporating stakeholder requirements and balancing them against strategic company goals/vision. You will partner with key technology teams collaborating directly through implementation and ongoing operational support cycles and engaged in the continuous improvement and evolution of the established Nike Trading Company platform.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
5 years' relevant professional work experience
2 years' additional relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Cross-functional SAP functional knowledge in more than one of the following: SD, MM, LE, FICO, or PP/APO preferred
Demonstrated process improvement experience
Experience with process mapping, documenting requirements, testing, and clearly defining the solution
Proven track record of leading results-oriented teams in high-pressure or high-profile assignments
Strong communication and influencing skills
Facilitation skills and presentation skills
Must have solid experience as "change agent"
Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background investigation
Experience leading and training cross-functional teams a plus
Experience with Lean methodologies and processes preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
