And we are looking for world-class talent like you to contribute to this journey.We are looking for a Procurement Sourcing Manager who will develop and lead global strategies to manage key portions of our footwear materials portfolio while also capturing available synergies across the NIKE Inc. materials buy. This is a highly visible role allowing the opportunity to lead and inspire, while helping to define Nike’s future in this space. You will work closely with our partners across the globe in NIKE Material Development, Sustainable Manufacturing and Sourcing, Sustainable Business & Innovation, Product Categories and Advanced Manufacturing. Working in Nike's Procurement business will be rewarding, it will be challenging, and it will most definitely not be just another job. As a Procurement Sourcing Manager, you will champion the sourcing and supplier relationship management of our vendor partners that provide the footwear community access to relevant, price competitive, and inspiring materials. You will develop and execute strategies based on overall Nike and Global Procurement objectives, supply market dynamics, and rigorous TCO analytics. By understanding supplier capabilities, capacities, performance, and supply chains, you will help provide direction to internal teams and manufacturing partners in alignment with Nike sourcing strategies.Business partner engagement will be critical, and you will be responsible for managing and fostering key relationships from Innovation to Execution, with both internal partners and external vendors.QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes (textile manufacturing that focuses on fabric formation is preferred).· Track-record of demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and proven leadership working with cross-functional teams, including cross-culturally with global teams.· Strong project management, including developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and presenting results.· Superior communication and presentation skills, with strong influencing and persuasive talents.· Proven ability to analyze large data and visualize data for use in decision making and strategy formation (Tableau skills preferred).· Clean-sheet modeling and negotiation methodology experience.· TCO approach to spend management (supply management, demand management, process management)· Rigorous cost savings approaches with expertise in total delivered cost.· Consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firm or material/product sourcing experience at industry leading retailer is a plus.· MBA or advanced analytical degree preferred.· Sensitivity to different cultures, customs and business practices · Must be willing to travelThese are the characteristics that we strive for in our own work.
