About the job

The Reliability Lead Technician will strive to improve equipment uptime through the application of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies and TPM / Lean principles and practices. This position will work closely with the Reliability Engineer and will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of the daily work plan schedule and for driving Continuous Improvement efforts. To be successful in this position, this person must exhibit a continuous improvement mindset with attention to details and the ability to train and influence peers. Must be able to help implement the daily work plan keeping our PM / CM schedule compliant and be able to make sound decisions when faced with competing priorities.RESPONSIBILITIES•Planning and organizing team•Tenacity for Improvement•Exceptional Customer Service Mindset •Demonstrated Industrial Maintenance Experience and Problem Solving •Accountability and Dependability •Work with Reliability Engineer and planner to deliver the daily work plan on shift•Collect and Organize data for input into the preventive maintenance system as needed •Prepare and document Breakdown Analysis on Equipment Failures•Assist with optimizing equipment PM’s based on the recognized failure modes•Work with the maintenance team to establish a Predictive Maintenance Culture using Ultrasound, Vibration and Sampling methodologies•Assist with moving routine maintenance and reliability tasks to the production team•Help identify and optimize critical spare parts on existing and new equipment•Work with engineering to resolve weak-point parts and maintenance prevention opportunitiesQualifications•High School diploma or GED•Post high school Technical/Vocational school degree or education or Military related training with industrial electrical experience is preferred•Manufacturing equipment and facility maintenance technical or military equipment or vocational, skilled trade or military training preferred•Skilled in trades of fabrication of industrial and manufacturing equipment•Excellent MSWord, Excel and Outlook skills•Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks •Ability to quickly learn and teach RCA, TPM and Lean methodologies•High level of sound and independent judgment, reasoning, and discretion•Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential •Resourcefulness and flexibility in an environment of competing priorities•Strong verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the team•Ability to flex work schedule as needed to accomplish directives•Perform root cause analysis on critical assets and provide long term solutions to issues. •Help with machine installation and assist training and transferring knowledge to other techs •Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control of these items. •Must be able to pass a 7-year background check•Must be able to pass a drug screen•Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
