DescriptionNike is one brand, fueled by categories. And while each category has a special role to play in making sport a daily habit and bringing innovation and inspiration to every athlete*, we think the work we do in Specialty is the coolest. We are innovators, entrepreneurs, strategists, and makers and together we are disrupting the status quo.Specialty Category is a portfolio of sports comprising Golf, Tennis, NikeSB, and Hurley. We do things differently here and our consumers feel it. We were excited to partner with an Athlete to build her a full-body compression suit (“catsuit”) to aid with circulation postpartum…and question what a woman should be allowed to wear on court. We’re the team that delivered a mockumentary aimed at making you laugh…while quietly loosening the strait-laced perceptions of the course. And we’re ever the champions of our athletes*.We are similarly excited to push internal boundaries and bring the energy and newness Nike is known for within sport to our company’s community. We are scrappy. In Specialty, we trade the “this is the way we do it” mentality for an adventurous spirit and the scientific method. We are on a journey to pioneer a new way of working that will take Nike into the future. As such, we are looking for someone to fill our Strategic Planning Manager role who likes the benefits of a big company but wants to use their brain in a start-up environment. Our ideal candidate is an energy bringer, optimistic, and passionate. You will need those skills as you work across multiple functions within Nike's matrixed organization.Strategy managers serve as critical partners to help cultivate tangible growth; conduct consumer, competitive, and market analyses; and quarterback the offense through key dates, gates, and deliverables. This role focuses on the sports of Golf and Tennis, harnessing the power of process to drive growth and generate alignment and commitment. It is also responsible for leading and creating content for key business and strategic planning processes. Our team is known for acquiring and developing dynamic talent for the company. With top talent and the DNA to catalyze action, the strategic planning teams help write the future of sport by charting Nike's path forward.
