DescriptionAs the Ethics & Compliance Manager for Third Party Risk Management within the Ethics & Compliance team at NIKE’s World Headquarters, you will work closely with the Ethics & Compliance legal team, Global Procurement, and internal business teams in the administration of NIKE’s global anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance program. Your primary focus will be to partner with Procurement to support and enhance third-party vendor/supplier risk identification and screening, including due diligence, on-going risk management, and other monitoring activities. Your core responsibilities will include anti-bribery/anti-corruption requirements and operating procedures, management of NIKE’s third party risk screening and evaluation processes, including evaluation, analysis, and disposition of potential “red flags”, and remediation of elevated risks. You will work closely with the Procurement team to roll out more capable controls and processes relating to third party risk screening, disposition of findings and monitoring of approved high-risk vendors. You will track these items through resolution, including documentation of any associated controls while maintaining updated records within NIKE’s Ethics & Compliance documentation repository and associated databases.Guide global third-party vendor due diligence programs, which includes defining, screening, analysis, monitoring, and training.
Assist in the creation, improvement and implementation of policies, procedures, controls, and systems relevant for third party risk screening and remediation.
Advise and partner with procurement to develop and maintain processes, databases, and associated data feeds that enable data analytics, reports, and dashboards on third party risks.
Identifies thematic issues and emerging risks and acts to report, escalate and resolve as appropriate. Identifies process and risk improvement opportunities and presents to Senior Counsel, Ethics & Compliance.
Review and periodically update high risk calculations and partner with procurement to update associated algorithms with NIKE’s Global Vendor Onboarding Portal.
Advises on governance enhancements across the company including vendor control environment and risk assessment practices.
Supports program monitoring processes, routines and inventory of vendor risk ratings, requirement status reporting and issue resolution.
Analyzes and advises the team on industry trends and third-party risk assessment and monitoring best practices to reduce risk.
Know and champion NIKE’s code of ethics and compliance policies.
Work collaboratively with internal finance, control, audit, business, and compliance stakeholders, and externally with business partners for the implementation of compliance measures, controls, and the resolution of compliance related matters.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients when responding to compliance questions or issues.

Minimum of 3 years professional relavant experience (corporate compliance, procurement, or government regulatory agency)
Supervisory responsibility of others
Working knowledge of compliance programs, solutions, processes, controls and procedures.
Experience configuring and using web-based solutions, SaaS, and other technology resources that enable and enhance compliance processes and controls.
Advanced data reporting including, pivot tables, and database skills.
Familiarity with compliance solutions such as Salesforce, SharePoint, Aravo, Concur, and World Compliance.
Work in a large multinational corporate compliance program is a plus.
Understanding of FCPA and UK Bribery Act is a plus.
Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills.
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in a exciting work environment, prioritize and work simultaneously on multiple projects, and excellent attention to detail.
Experience with case/project management and business processes/systems.
Adaptability necessary to work effectively in a sometimes ambiguous, changing, and matrix environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and collegiality.
Have excellent ethics and judgment.
