DescriptionEvery successful team at Nike needs a brilliant game plan. Strategic Planning teams shape and drive the company’s growth agenda by leading the business planning processes, aligning enterprise leadership to make our biggest opportunities a reality, and spearheading transformational projects across Nike’s diverse businesses and geographies. Embedded in teams across the company, strategy professionals serve as critical thought partners to our senior leaders to explore complex business issues; conduct consumer, competitive, and market analyses; create financial models; and develop action plans to galvanize our teams.

As a Strategic Planning Manager, you’ll be expected to work with the North America leadership team to:
Develop and execute cross-functional projects focused on business planning

Evaluate Nike’s critical priorities on an ongoing basis

Identify opportunities to drive Nike’s long-term growth strategy

Report weekly/monthly/quarterly results to senior executives

Facilitate cross-functional and senior leadership discussion

In this role, you will often be expected to manage one or more workstreams to help identify and evaluate critical priorities and to catalyze action against these priorities. You will develop high-impact presentations to communicate strategic plans and visions across Nike. In addition, you will lead the development and ongoing management of tools and processes to execute against the strategic and business plans.
QualificationsStrong passion for Nike

Four-year bachelor's degree; MBA preferred but not required

Preference for at least 3 years of total experience in corporate development, business development, corporate strategic planning, business unit strategic planning, investment banking, management consulting, finance, and/or related fields; or 4 years of total experience in digital/e-commerce, retail, and/or apparel brands

Demonstrated ability to drive quantitative and qualitative analysis (e.g., financial modeling, corporate finance and valuation)
Comfort analyzing research related to consumers, industries, and competitors
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide project management support
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, to operate with a high degree of ambiguity, and to work with a flexible schedule

Logical problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
Track record of working effectively as a thought partner to senior leaders and their teams to drive change
Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed environment and manage a diverse set of stakeholders
Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work-cross functionally
Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership
Excellent written, oral, and communication skills
Proficiency in standard business software applications (e.g., Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel)
Can-do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team
Ability to pass a criminal background check
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Digital/E-commerce, Retail, Merchandising, Operations, and/or Product functional experience
