Nike Direct – which combines Nike Digital and Nike Direct-To-Consumer teams - is responsible for developing and delivering engaging experiences, products and offers to Nike consumers.

As part of the Nike’s Consumer Direct Finance team, you will help define and implement the product feature’s vision and strategy, guide the end-to-end lifecycle of features, and help identify market opportunities to take advantage of. You will define and implement a thorough roadmap and product priorities based on a thorough understanding of consumer needs, insights and an even stronger handle on in-depth data analysis. You will define the optimal financial journey, considering both the operational and strategic needs desired. You will lead and guide your own squad and provide direction for leaders across product management, program management, engineering, design, and quality assurance. You’ll drive all aspects of a product, from discovery to launch, and will roll up your sleeves and get into the implementation details to ensure the experience is right. You constantly measure and look for ways to improve your product experience and take action.

You are a great collaborator – you will proactively build trusting relationships across the Nike Direct organization and beyond to launch your product, including functional partners, network partners, and geography teams. Key internal partners include Nike Direct Chief Financial Officer (CFO), geo CFO’s, Global and geo financial planning teams, global and geo controlling leadership and teams. You can bring these individuals along and align on the overall roadmap. You help these partners understand the benefits and impacts from experiences you prioritize and deliver.

Key Responsibilities:
Product strategy and vision: Create and effectively champion a data-driven and market-informed product vision and strategy that puts our consumer needs at the center.
Leadership: Set the strategic direction for your product. Be an advocate your product; articulate the consumer and business value to all levels of the organization. Develop compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate your product story.
Product roadmap definition: Develop a product roadmap based on a clear understanding of consumer needs and in-depth data analysis. Articulate clear value drops and how they impact our consumers. Drive and prioritize the product roadmap in partnership with other Nike Direct teams and stakeholders.
Management: Lead a product squad composed of multidisciplinary teams. May have direct administration over one or more product managers.
Product lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of a product from conception to implementation, ensuring the right market fit and growth plan. Lead delivery challenges and define pilot/rollout strategies. Make thoughtful decisions on the fly, constantly clearing roadblocks to getting your product live.
Prioritization: Effectively design project plans based on priorities, set clear/measurable objectives and deploy team resources appropriately to achieve business goals.
Product Specifications: Write and consult on product specifications, guide design challenges and implement agile product delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with a broad breath of stakeholders across Finance, Controlling, Tax, Planning and Operations. Remove obstacles and help the team navigate and align the organization to optimize success.
Analytics and Experimentation: Develop and measure clear product KPIs, derive key insights, and devise and implement proof-of-concept executions to learn. Develop metrics to measure results and ensure ability for on-going monitoring of post-launch results through analysis and reporting.
Industry Analysis: Continuously monitor and share emerging technology trends, competitive experiences and elite solutions.
QualificationsSeasoned product manager with 6+ years of digital and retail finance background focused on delivering and maximizing value for analytical, planning and reporting applications and driving their adoption.
Demonstrated success working with various, cross-functional, internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget with limited direction. Examples of successful working relationships and processes with engineering, design and product teams.
Confirmed ability to develop, communicate and gain consensus on a product roadmap for a wide variety of finance products. Experience managing priorities with key leaders, partners and third party vendors.
Excellent analytical skills with supporting examples of using metrics in all aspects of the product lifecycle. Exceptional data analysis skills.
Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, multi-task. Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.
An assertive, direct communication style, with the ability to inspire and motivate others across the company. Collaborative, energetic and hands-on team player.
Deep passion for creating engaging, compelling retail experiences for consumers and store athletes.
BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.
Experience working with Excel, JIRA, Confluence and Omniture.
