DescriptionAs an In-Sport Tester for the Nike Running Club (NRC) app, you’ll find yourself immersed in fast-pacedprojects crossing a wide range of technologies and experiences. We’ll ask you to take astrong, consumer-focused view of every deliverable and, through collaboration, be responsiblefor consistent and reliable delivery of awesome software solutions.You’ll focus on testing the accuracy of the NRC app and ensuring that the app is functioning asexpected. You’ll be running indoors and outdoors and coordinating testing sessions withrunners both on and off the Nike campus. You should get great satisfaction from the testingprocess and relish the opportunity to dig deep.You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable because our world changes daily. You will spend muchof your time as a key member of a focused team solving a business problem, but you’ll alsobring great experience and motivation to the entire quality organization. You will bepassionately pragmatic, sincerely savvy and capable of negotiation, reinvention, and smartcompromise.QualificationsJob Duties Include• Expert user of NRC mobile applications• Manage mobile device inventory (phones and watches)• Create in-run test cases and test plans• Build tools and communication processes to recruit and retain testers (runners)• Build and maintain the testing community (running)• Recruit and schedule participants for test workouts• Run test workouts yourself, sometimes more than once per day• Capture workout test results and feedback from testers and NRC team• Compile, analyze, and present test results to stakeholdersSkills/Background Desired• Athletic background and capability (distance running)• Technical background and capability (degree in engineering, physiology, biomechanics,etc. is a plus)• Understanding of mobile technologies including phone and watch apps and datacapture hardware (e.g. heart rate straps, etc.)• Strong organizational skills (e.g. organizing and coordinating testing)• Strong communication skills (spoken, written, and presentation)• Self-starter who takes initiative and also works well with a team NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
