As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. A master juggler working of multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance, AWS, and Cloudability teams inside and out, you'll lead individual projects/assignments to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll participate in providing senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

Our Cloud Platforms are changing the way the world accesses compute power. As global compute capacity rapidly shifts to the public cloud, these clouds deliver virtualized compute, big data/analytics, and machine learning tools to its customers at an unparalleled scale and speed.

Responsibilities:
Partner with all Tech Op teams to evaluate the capacity requirements for new deals, new products/features, and geo-expansion, and provide a clear view of availability/timeline.
Analyze the financial impact of product/feature launches, and deals. Create a standard stack ranking mechanism to continuously allocate capacity across different areas.
Drive actionable analyses and recommendations to match compute supply with demand, to ensure we maintain service level agreements, accelerate time to market with new hardware and continue expanding profitability.
Participate in projects to automate and scale reporting on key capacity metrics, supply chain performance and growth drivers.
Perform daily administrative responsibilities in the AWS console
Meet as needed with appropriate vendors
QualificationsMinimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner within 6 months of hire
Interest in supply/demand planning, operations management, Technology and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), or a similar field.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with spreadsheet modeling, financial and decision analysis, working with large datasets and basic probability and statistics.
Experience being in a cross-functional project teams through strong problem-framing
Experience with automation and process improvement.
Knowledge of business applications and basic accounting principles.
Developed problem-structuring skills, project management skills, and the ability to communicate insights to highly technical and financially minded management teams.
