The Nike, Inc. Communications team develops, establishes and strengthens authentic connections with diverse audiences through the lens of innovation and sport. DescriptionAs the Digital Brand Manager, Nike Skateboarding Social, you will operate as the strategic lead for shaping the social strategy for the category.
In partnership with the Nike Direct Brand Digital lead, the Integrated Media team and agency partners, you will be viewed as the trusted partner for identifying which social platforms to use, how-to best leverage them across organic and paid media and will be ultimately responsible for maintaining the health of the categories respective social channels. In this role, you will be responsible for the concept, brief and direction a campaign takes across social, as well as the 365 touch points defined in partnership with the Editorial team – with the ultimate goal to encourage our consumer to skate every day. You will work with identified creative partners both internal and external to bring this to life.
ResponsibilitiesCreative Strategy and Direction
Set the strategy for how the category shows-up across social platforms with consideration for both paid media and organic distribution.
Responsible for briefing internal creative partners and agencies.
Understand and communicate content performance metrics and build an evaluation period into the content development process.
Programming, Publishing, MeasurementCreate seasonal and always-on programming of social in lockstep with category priorities.
Handle the creation and publishing process from brief to execution.
Work with Tools team to establish AMP as the central planning and publishing tool for Global Social, Geo and territory partners (planning and distribution).
Lead social publishing calendar for the category.
Deliver top-line weekly reports for Nike Direct roll-up to leadership.
Identify, Test, LearnKeep abreast of platform developments, incorporate platform-right opportunities into social campaigns and share learnings back to the functions.
Qualifications3-5 yrs of experience on a social team/and or at a social agency (content development, project management or production)
Proven experience leading a project or campaign (excellent organizational skills).
Multi-tasking capabilities, with ability to project manage and/or work on a variety of different projects and workstreams at one time
Complex Integrated Marketing team and campaign experience
Early adopter and problem solver for digital platforms (Comfortable trying new tools and adapting to process improvements)
Experience working and managing teams within Opal, Asana, Trello or relevant equivalent
High-level thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation
Multi-tasking capabilities, with ability to project manage and/or work on a variety of different projects and workstreams at one time
Strong people skills, diplomacy and collaborative spirit
Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed
Capable of understanding challenges or underlying concerns and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
Affinity for sport, fashion and retail.
