DescriptionAs a critical member the Global Influencer Marketing team, the Director of Collaboration Operations, will have the rare opportunity to drive our world class collaboration operating model across all functions and categories within Nike, Inc. This person will have a startup, entrepreneurial energy, and is comfortable managing complex processes, timelines, information and reporting in a fast paced environment. We are looking for candidates with experience leading in a cross-functional creative environment, preferably experience within agency, with marketing teams, and with product. We also seek candidates with a passion for pushing the boundaries and driving a lean and efficient process with strong communication and organizational skills.
Nike is a leading authority in The Lifestyle of Sport, and our Influence Marketing team works on visionary marketing collaborations with our most influential partners in the industry. This new role will connect key functions and categories across the Nike Inc portfolio with streamlined information. This role will be the epicenter of collaboration, integration, and transparency of information. The ideal candidate will ensure that every aspect of the Nike Collaboration Operating model is optimized, from top-to-bottom driving monthly and quarterly meetings, leadership reviews, alignment with strategic priorities and coordination to ensure this process runs smoothly on a daily basis. They will partner across marketing, product creation, product design, merchandising, finance, legal and marketplace teams for Jordan, Converse and Nike Brands to drive the process and the work.
Oversee and lead day-to-day operations for our external collaborations and partnerships.
Lead the internal intake process and meeting cadence to evaluate new collaborations through development of intake forms and reporting tools, process facilitation and stakeholder reporting
Establish project intake, brief interrogation, program and project tracking and daily, weekly, monthly operating model
Develop cross-functional strategies and process to resource projects (both internally and with external partners) and resolve capacity issues through creative approaches to producing content at scale
Lead approved collaboration kick offs and briefs
Working closely with Nike Legal, oversee and lead contractual relationships with Collaborators ensuring we have agreements in place for all projects in progress
Establish the process and operating model to develop and implement the integrated collaboration operating model across global, geo and city teams
Work with the IM team to ensure transparency and alignment on new collaborations and timelines
Drive detailed recaps reports including KPI’s on the collaborations. Analyze effectiveness and success metrics to evaluate long term journeys with partners

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing, Design or a related field
8+ years’ of progressively responsible experience leading in a cross-functional creative environment, preferably experience within agency, or within marketing or functional operations teams
Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions
Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business
Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies

Demonstrated professionalism, ownership and initiative
Travel 10% of the time
