DESCRIPTION

Nike Direct Marketing is looking for a Product Marketing Director for our Digital Flagship Platforms, Nike.com & Nike App. We are looking for a Director to define and drive the brand vision, positioning and strategy to bring best in class brand experiences to life for our most personal and highest growth platform. Your mission will be focused on creating experiences centered on a 365 lifestyle of sport, built around the needs of the athlete⏵ & at the pace of sport. You will be a key contributor into a multi-pronged Nike Direct digital marketing strategy that crosses teams throughout the organization with direct collaboration and alignment with our geographies.

This role will oversee the acquisition, engagement and retention health of our Digital Flagship Platforms, including developing strategies to achieve new, engaged, & retained member targets, marketing of the platforms and features to drive new users and engagement, developing GTM marketing plans for new markets, identifying and developing strategies against key consumer cohorts, and piloting new capabilities. Key deliverables include consumer cohort analyses, strategies to grow, engage and retain members, reporting that measures effectiveness of growth, engagement and retention strategies, digital marketing roadmap/experience requirements & best practices, test/measurement plans and owning pilots for new marketing capabilities.

This role requires a strategic mindset demonstrated through innovative thinking and expertise to drive key decisions that are consumer-centric and move the brand forward as a leader in digital. We’re looking for a demonstrated digital marketing leader who is creative, collaborative, and eager to develop and lead a highly effective team. A leader of inspiration, uniting team & geographies around the Nike Direct Marketing vision & Nike Digital Flagship strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES

?Accountable for creating and evolving Digital Flagship platform strategy, implementing a consumer engagement strategy to make the brand more personal and delivers business results.
?Develop strategies to drive qualified member acquisition, including App Store optimization, onboarding, GTM planning in new geographies, and multi-touch attribution strategies
?Develop strategies to drive member engagement and retention, including identifying and marketing against user cohorts, supporting new capability development & prioritization, and strategic frameworks around content, personalization, mix, targeting, and journey design
?Lead Digital Flagship pilot experiences, testing new and innovative ways to deliver personalized experiences at scale and solve for common consumer and geo needs.
?Subject matter expert of the Digital Flagship platforms and deep knowledge of the digital capabilities, understanding how to maximize the channel to elevate the consumer experience.
?Identify and share Digital Flagship marketing needs and learnings back into Consumer Knowledge, Digital Design and Digital Product teams to ensure the platform and product roadmap is optimized to support marketing, consumer and geography needs.
?Inform editorial content creation process to develop channel right content and testing approach to match consumer intent based on insights and Digital Flagship best practices aligned to geography experiences needs.

PARTNERSHIPS

?Close collaboration with Digital Flagship Brand Marketing team to share learnings from the Nike Direct Digital teams, and understand Nike Direct Marketing Category and Geo needs
?Collaborate & align with Digital Product and engineering teams, informing roadmap prioritization to deliver new marketing capabilities that increase member retention and frequency.
?Drive 365 iterative learning loop to wire channel insights/data into Digital Flagship Brand Marketing- continually test, measure & optimize platform health with in partnership with Consumer Knowledge and Integrated Knowledge
?Partner with Nike Direct Marketing Category offense and Geo Channel Marketing teams to pilot new capabilities, ensuring there is a test and learn agenda against each

?Help to build the next generation of digital leaders, accelerating functional digital expertise to power the new offense.
?Motivate, mentor, and develop the existing team and develop a long-term plan for team structure and growth.
?Lead through influence and collaboration, building strong relationships with the ability to interact with all levels of leadership.

Qualifications
?Minimum of 8 years of directly relevant digital product marketing experience for a technology company, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or fitness apps
?Experience working with marketing analytics and how to derive actionable insights
?Experience with developing marketing strategies to drive to growth & engagement KPI targets
?Expert at driving a culture of always-on testing and learning, including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy, planning, and content iteration
?Understanding of the Nike App and Nike.com platform and core capabilities
?Ability to masterfully juggle the details and the big picture
