Description
The Sr. ERM manages a team of ER Specialists who
provide advice and counsel, conduct workplace investigations and provide
proactive solutions to ensure compliance with Nike Inc. policies, practices and
values. The Sr. ERM is also responsible for conducting complex investigations
and developing and maintaining partnerships with territory stakeholders (e.g. Human
Resources (HR) and Business leaders) to develop strategies that support
organization health. In this role, the Sr. ERM will contribute subject matter
expertise to internal projects and training content and facilitate ER specific trainings
in the business.






RESPONSIBILITIES


Manages a team of ER Specialists who provide advice, counsel and conduct
non-complex workplace investigations.

Reviews and/or audits ER Specialist case work to
ensure compliance with ER Service Level Agreements.

Conducts/leads complex, high-risk investigations
and adheres to ER Service Level Agreements.

Leverages Nike’s Investigation and Case
management guidelines to ensure adherence to case management practices, Service
Level Agreements (SLA) and employee experience.

Cultivates and maintains productive relationships with HR, legal and
Business Leaders across the enterprise.

Actively manages caseloads and partners with
appropriate Stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

Identifies opportunities for process improvements and partners with the
appropriate parties for solutions and implementation.

Develops and facilitates internal and external training on ER related
topics (including Nike Inc. Policies).

Leads (or participates in) projects that directly or indirectly impact
the ER Team.

Presents investigation findings and provides recommendations to influence
business leaders and partners to make decisions that align with Nike Inc.
policies and procedures.

Provides recommendations to improve organizational health.

Advises and consults on policies, Performance
Action Plans and Corrective Action.

Utilizes analytics to engage in proactive ER
practices to reduce the total number of complaints received and to improve
organizational health.

Facilitates training on ER related topics (including Nike Inc.
Policies).

Serves as Subject Matter Expert on internal ER
procedures and serves as first point of contact on escalated items.

Operates with integrity, confidentiality and demonstrates good judgment
when engaging with others and making decisions.

Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business or equivalent.

Advanced degree, JD, or other specialized training in Labor Relations/ER a plus.

Three (3) years of experience managing, leading and developing teams.

Five to seven (5 -7) years of experience in an HR Generalist, ER, or a related role, conducting investigations related to Federal, State, Local employment and Labor laws for a multi-site organization.

Extensive knowledge of workplace complaint investigations, union avoidance, employee advocacy and EEO compliance.

Strong influencing skills with proven success in influencing employees at all levels of the organization in a consultative methodology.

Solid understanding of Federal and State Employment & Labor Laws.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.


OTHER EXPERIENCE
Project Management and Facilitation Skills.

Organizational skills; including the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Technically proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint.

Ability to establish trust and credibility.

Able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.

Ability to influence using a consultative approach.
