Description
Nike is a brand

operations teams to create the time and space for our teams to push the
boundaries of what is possible. As the Director, Merchandising Operations-Process
Activation, you will be responsible for driving operational effectiveness
across our Global Merchandising organization. 
You will work directly with Merchandising leaders and teams empowering
them to deliver line, assortment and flow plans with ease.
In this role you will lead a team dedicated to
defining and managing the Merchandising process to strengthen the way we work,
plan and execute to move at the pace of the consumer, leveraging digital solutions
where possible.  You will engage the Global Merchandising community to
gather insights and identify opportunities to improve seasonal execution. To be
successful in this role you must have a passion for cross-functional
collaboration, striving to evolve a complex and connected system through
continuous improvement.  In collaboration
with design, product, marketing and marketplace operations you will work on
strategic initiatives and projects on behalf of the Merchandising function,
creating innovative solutions to complex questions that have a broad impact on
the business.  Through deep partnership and understanding, you will lead
the engagement model with Global Merchandising teams and leaders, serving as
the hub to connect with cross-functional Global operational, tools, and
analytics partners and Geo cross-functional partners as needed.



Qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree plus 8 years of professional work experience in merchandising, operations,
analytics. management consulting, corporate strategy or a related field (6+
years of work experience with an MBA).
Experience
designing and implementing new processes across a large organization
Strong
understanding of Merchandising or Product Management workflows
Demonstrated
ability to lead cross—functional teams driving large scale change within an
organization.
Advanced
written and verbal communication
Expert
problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills.
Compelling,
high-impact storyteller with the ability to influence at multiple levels
throughout the organization.
Self-directed
and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
Strong
retail or digital product acumen.
